Indian Army's Sniffer Dog 🪖Tyson Captures 3 Terrorists Despite Being Shot in Jammu and Kashmir🇮🇳🫡

Tyson is a highly trained K9 trooper attached to the Indian Army’s 2 Para (Special Forces) who displayed remarkable bravery during a counter-terrorism operation in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district in Jammu and Kashmir. During a coordinated cordon-and-search mission against terrorists of the proscribed Jaish-e-Mohammed group, Tyson ran ahead of advancing troops toward a suspected hideout, helping pinpoint the militants’ location. In the ensuing gunfight, the dog was shot in the leg but continued moving forward, enabling the security forces to establish the exact position of the terrorists. His actions were credited with significantly aiding the operation, which resulted in the neutralisation of multiple terrorists, including a senior Jaish commander. Tyson was subsequently airlifted for specialised medical treatment and is reported to be stable and recovering. This incident highlights both the vital role of trained military dogs in high-risk operations and Tyson’s exceptional courage under fire.
