Schools reopen in Kashmir and winter zones of Jammu

Schools in Kashmir and Winter Zones of Jammu to Reopen in Two Phases from February 23!
In the Kashmir Division and designated winter zones of Jammu, educational institutions are set to reopen in a phased manner after the 2025–26 winter break.
Classes 9th to 12th will resume academic activities on Monday, February 23, 2026.
Pre-Primary to Class 8th will recommence regular class work from March 1, 2026.
This staggered reopening aims to ensure a smooth and well-organized transition back to the academic schedule.
