Effective Communication Seminar Organised at M.R.P.D Government College,Talwara

Talwara-Hoshiarpur, 20 February ( Arsh ) : An informative seminar on “ How to Communicate Effectively – From College Classroom to Leadership Roles ” was organised at M.R.P.D Government College, Talwara under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Rajiv Khosla.

Sharing details about the event, Prof. Ajay Kumar Arsh, Convener of the College Media Management Committee, stated that the Seminar was conducted in the College conference i-Hall with the objective of enhancing students’ communication skills, which are essential for academic success and leadership development.

The Keynote Session was delivered by Sakshi Jaggi, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce. In her address, she emphasized the significance of effective communication in personal and professional life. She highlighted that strong communication skills enable students to excel in classrooms and prepare them for leadership roles in the future.
She elaborated on practical strategies to improve verbal and non-verbal communication, active listening, clarity of expression, confidence building, and adaptability in diverse professional situations. The session was interactive, engaging students in discussions and real-life examples.

Principal Dr. Rajiv Khosla, while addressing the gathering, appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to continuously refine their communication abilities. He stressed that clear, confident, and impactful communication is a key factor in career advancement and effective leadership.

Nearly 70 students and faculty members participated in the seminar and actively engaged in interactive activities.
The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks, marking the event as a meaningful and enriching academic initiative of the college - Ajay Kumar 'Arsh'
