The crescent moon was sighted on Wednesday evening by Shahi Imam of Fatehpuri Masjid in Delhi Maulana Mufti Mukarram Ahmed and Naib Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid Syed Shaban Bukhari. With this, Muslims will observe a strict fast for 30 days from today. They will spend their days in devotion without taking food or drink from dawn to dusk.
