AMMA TROPHY 2026

On the occasion of the 78th birth anniversary of former Chief Minister and Puratchi Thalaivi Amma, J. Jayalalithaa, a cork ball cricket tournament for the youth was organized at Pattanam Panchayat, under Sulur South Union, Coimbatore Suburban South District. The tournament was conducted over the past two weeks under the arrangement of Kambar G. Devaraj.
The final match was held on Sunday, 15.02.2026, at around 5:00 PM. In the finals, the Powerboys team secured first place, and the Warriors team secured second place. Trophies and cricket equipment were awarded to both teams.
The prizes were distributed by Sulur Constituency MLA V. P. Kandasamy, Sulur South Union Secretary G. Kumaravel, and Sulur North Union Secretary V. P. Kandavel. Party functionaries, administrators, and the general public also participated in the event and presented prizes.
More than 8 teams, along with players, party administrators, and a large number of general public, attended the ceremony and made the event a grand success at Sulur, near Coimbatore.
