
Vay Vandana Card Camp Held Successfully at SR Gunj, Srinagar
A Vay Vandana Card generation camp for senior citizens above 70 years was successfully conducted at SR Gunj as part of a special outreach drive of the District’s Administration Srinagar aimed at expanding social security coverage for the elderly.
Organized by the Zonal Medical Office SR Gunj, the camp was held to ensure that eligible BENEFICIARIES could conveniently register and access benefits under the Vay Vandana scheme.
Transport facilities were arranged to bring senior citizens from different localities to the venue, enabling wider participation.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Tahir Sajad, Chief Medical Officer Srinagar, in the presence of Dr Shafkat Nazir, Zonal Medical Officer SR Gunj; Dr Tufel Jan Kochak, Nodal Officer; Dr Musarat Mufti, Medical Officer; CHO Liyaqat Ahmad; Health Educator Altaf Ahmad; Ms. Jabeena Akhter, ASHA Coordinator; ASHA Zonal Head; Senior Pharmacist Mansoor Ahmad, along with other healthcare officials and staff.
