Kolkata Hosts International Poultry Fair, Draws Industry Stakeholders
Kolkata, Feb 11: The Kolkata International Poultry Fair has commenced in the city, attracting poultry industry stakeholders, farmers, researchers and business representatives from across India and overseas. The event is being held at the Biswa Bangla Exhibition Centre in Newtown and is organised by the West Bengal Poultry Federation in collaboration with the state’s Animal Resources Development Department From 11th to 13th February.
The fair features an international conference focusing on innovation, modern farming techniques and sustainable poultry production. Technical sessions and expert discussions are highlighting advancements in feed technology, breeding systems and animal health management.
The exhibition segment showcases new equipment, feed solutions and poultry management technologies presented by several national and international companies. Industry experts view the event as an important platform for knowledge sharing, business networking and industry growth.
Organisers said the fair is expected to strengthen the poultry sector in Eastern and Northeastern India while promoting modern and efficient farming practices.
