District level launching ceremony of mass drug administration and national deworming day

District level mass medicine administration program and National Deworming Day public awareness program was held at Satlma Higher Secondary School premises under Barpali block, Bargarh district under the presidency of Dr. Rajesh Kumar Behera. First, the lamp was light by the guests. Bijepur MLA Sanat Kumar Gadatia participated as the chief guest in the program. On this occasion, the MLA himself took medicine and set an example and requested the public to help build a healthy society by taking deworming medicine. Among others, Bargarh CDMO Dr. Kuber Charan Mahant, Barpali BDO Sumant Kumbar, ZP Member Sanjukta Sahu, ADPHO Dr. Krishna Ballav Mohanty, Additional Tahasildar Barpali Himanshu Shekhar Naik, BPHO Shashikant Tripathi, Principal of the Higher Secondary School Lingaraj Behera participated. Barpali BEO Mukund Mahar and CDPO Sanjukta Mohapatra also participated in the program. The program was conducted by Sudam Charan Panigrahi, PHEO Barpali, while Krishna Chandra Luha, DM RCH, proposed the vote of thanks. Students of the local school and all the Asha, Anganwadi workers were present on the occasion.
