Golden Jubilee of Sri Aurobindo Pathachakra inaugurated

The Golden Jubilee celebrations of Sri Aurobindo Pathachakra in Bijepur, Bargarh district have been inaugurated. On this occasion, the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Sri Aurobindo Purnanga Shiksha Kendra are also being organized jointly. Local landlord and Bijepur MLA Sanat Kumar Gadathiya attended the inauguration as the chief guest. The inaugural ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Loknath Meher, the chairman of the management committee, and coordinated by Debarchan Sahu, the editor. MLA Sanat Kumar Gadathiya said in his speech, “Sri Aurobindo’s philosophy of education shows man not only the direction of textual knowledge, but also the direction of ethics, character and spiritual progress. With a transformed mind and soul, man can make himself better and also make the society beautiful.” Saying that the contribution of Sri Aurobindo Pathachakra in providing value-based education to the children is commendable, he assured that he will always cooperate for the overall progress of the organization. The golden and silver jubilee souvenirs “Abhipsa” were presented to the public at this ceremony. Prasad Tripathi, former editor of Navjeevan Shiksha Sansad, Cuttack, participated as the main speaker and shed light on Sri Aurobindo’s entire philosophy of education. Former BEO Ghanashyam Sahu was present as the guest of honor. District organizers Samarendra Lenka and Dr. Upendra Mohapatra joined as guest speakers and expressed the view that attaining God through a transformed mind and soul is the ultimate goal of life. Managing Trustee Dwit Guru introduced the guest of honor and introduced the purpose of the event, while Trustee Rajeswar Behera proposed the vote of thanks. Before the inaugural ceremony, Shridhar Sahu hoisted the Mother flag. A Mother Conference was held in the second session. Executive Officer of the Notified Area Council, Vibhan Bibhudatta Sahu, was the chief guest. Jayanti Singh, Mamata and Tapaswini Mohapatra discussed the role of women in the formation of the divine era. Trustee Kuntala Sahu proposed the vote of thanks. In the evening, the Sambalpuri play “Gach” was performed by the students of class VIII, composed by Rajeswar Behera and directed by Kumar Mahanand. Later, a delightful cultural program enthralled the audience.
