Missing cases

Delhi is facing a serious crisis as more than 800 people were reported missing in just the first 15 days of 2026. On average, around 54 people are disappearing every day, with women and m*nors forming a large share of the cases. While police have managed to trace 235 individuals, hundreds are still unaccounted for. The situation is even more alarming given the long-term trend nearly 52,000 missing-person cases have remained unresolved since 2016. The rising numbers underline an urgent need for stronger preventive measures, faster investigations, and better support systems to address this growing concern.
