Save Bengaluru’s 711-Acre Kadugodi Forest Now! Bengaluru

Bengaluru is on the brink of losing one of its last green lungs. The 711-acre Kadugodi Reserve Forest in Whitefield, officially protected since 1901, is being destroyed through illegal land transfers, arson, and tree felling—despite a Supreme Court order (May 2025) directing all forest land to be restored to Forest Departments. This forest cools our city, reduces floods, cleans our air, and shelters wildlife like peacocks. Bengaluru has already lost 97% of its green cover in 50 years. We demand immediate restoration of Kadugodi Forest, a halt to construction, and prosecution of violators. Sign and share to protect Bengaluru’s future.
