India Gears Up for Global AI Leadership with "YUVA AI for All" Initiative

​Bhubaneswar – As India prepares to host the prestigious AI Impact Summit Bharat 2026, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has intensified its push for national AI literacy through the "YUVA AI for All" program.
​The initiative, launched under the IndiaAI Mission, aims to bridge the digital divide by equipping over 1 crore (10 million) citizens—primarily students and youth—with foundational Artificial Intelligence skills.
​Democratizing AI: A Course for Every Indian
​The "YUVA AI for All" program is designed as a beginner-friendly, self-paced digital course. Unlike traditional technical certifications, this program focuses on making AI relatable through real-life Indian examples.
​Key Features of the Program:
​Zero Cost: The course is 100% free and open to all learners.
​Time-Efficient: A concise 4.5-hour curriculum divided into six modules.
​Government Certified: Learners receive an official Government of India certificate upon completion.
​Accessible Everywhere: Available on platforms like FutureSkills Prime and iGOT Karmayogi.
​Vision: "Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya"
​The program's philosophy, Welfare for All, Happiness for All, aligns with the broader goals of the upcoming AI Impact Summit 2026. Scheduled for mid-February at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, the summit will be the first global AI forum hosted in the Global South.
​"AI is not just a technological advancement; it is a strategic tool to enable inclusive growth," the summit's framework highlights. "YUVA AI for All ensures that the youth of India are not just consumers of AI, but informed participants in its ethical and responsible development."
