People Cut Off Since First Snowfall — Tragedy Strikes Due to Negligence
Pogal Valley has remained completely cut off since the very first day of snowfall.
Till date, there is no proper or continuous snow clearance work on these vital roads:
Ukhral to Nora Panchal Road
Upper Side Internal Road
The snow clearance machinery is functioning extremely slowly.
As per ground reports, it is taking nearly 6 days to clear just 2 kilometers of road, leaving thousands stranded in severe winter conditions.
❄️ Heart-Wrenching Incident
During these extremely hard days, a tragic death of an elderly woman has been reported in the area.
Due to non-availability of road access, the local people were forced to:
Carry the deceased on their shoulders
Walk around 35 kilometers
Through approximately 28 inches of snow
Just to reach her home for last rites
This is not just hardship — this is a humanitarian failure.

Patients cannot reach hospitals
Elderly and children are at serious risk
Essential supplies are running low
Villages remain isolated with no urgency shown
