Nalanda Public Relations Youth Festival 2026 to Focus on Ethics of AI in Journalism and PR

The Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), Hyderabad Chapter, in collaboration with the Nalanda Students Forum and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College, Hyderabad, is set to organize the Nalanda Public Relations Youth Festival 2026 on Saturday 31 January 2026. The event will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the MBA Seminar Hall, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College, Bagh Lingampally, Hyderabad.

The central theme of the festival is “Navigating the Ethics and Impact of AI in Modern Journalism & Public Relations.” The event aims to provide a platform for students, academicians, and media professionals to discuss the growing influence of artificial intelligence on journalism and public relations, with special emphasis on ethical challenges, credibility, and professional responsibility.

The highlight of the programme will be an address by Dr. Ajit Pathak, National President of PRSI, who will be the chief guest and keynote speaker. His address is expected to offer valuable insights into the evolving role of AI in media and communication industries.

The festival is being organized under the leadership of Dr. Yadagiri Kambhampati, Chairman of PRSI Hyderabad Chapter, with Krishna Baji, Convener of Nalanda Students Forum, and Rajesh Kalyana, Chapter Secretary, playing key roles in coordination and execution.

Organisers stated that the event is designed to encourage young communication professionals to critically engage with emerging technologies while upholding ethical standards in journalism and public relations. The festival is expected to witness active participation from students of journalism, mass communication, and public relations across Hyderabad.
