The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm by hoisting the National Flag at its headquarters on M.A. Road, Srinagar.
The flag hoisting ceremony was presided over by President, District Congress Committee Srinagar, Shri Dr. Audil Farooq Mir Lasjan, in the presence of senior leaders of the party. Prominent among those present were JKPCC Senior Leaders Shri Nisar Ahmad Mandoo, Shri A.G. Khan, Shri Er. Basharat Bashir Wani, Shri Fayaz Ahmad, Shri Ashiq Hussain, Ms. Seerat Bashir, Ms. Nargis G, along with other Congress leaders and workers.
On the occasion, the leaders paid rich tributes to the architects of the Indian Constitution and reiterated the party’s commitment to uphold the values of democracy, secularism, unity, and social justice.
