Bargarh MP pays tribute to all the martyred revolutionaries who were beheaded inside the Kalapani Cellular Jail

The Parliamentary Standing Committee of the Department of Labour, Skill Development, Textiles is on a two day visit to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The visit was led by the Committee Chairman MP and former Chief Minister of Karnataka S. R. Bommai. Bargarh MP Pradeep Purohit along with other MPs of the country participated in this visit. Kalapani was set up with the aim of permanently suppressing the revolutionary revolutionaries who were fighting for the motherland, dreaming of freeing India from the British Empire. Therefore, the British built a cellular jail on this island. It is now a national monument of our country. The members of the committee visited this jail on the evening of the 25th. MP Pradeep Purohit paid his deepest tributes to all the revolutionary revolutionaries who had once joined the freedom struggle and fought against the British with the dream of freeing India from colonial rule. They were brought to this jail and hanged and died in this jail due to torture by the British police. The martyrs of all India were beheaded inside the jail.
