The rehearsals for the 77th Republic Day Parade 2026 are currently underway at Kartavya Path. To meet and motivate the enthusiastic artists and performers of Sangeet Natak Akademi and North Zone Cultural Centre, Shri Vivek Aggarwal, Secretary, Ministry Of Culture Government Of India, Dr Sandhya Purecha, Chairman, Sangeet Natak Akademi and Shri Raju Das, Secretary, Sangeet Natak Akademi visited the rehearsal venue today.

To commemorate 150 years of Vande Mataram, the Ministry of Culture will present a special dance performance featuring 2,500 artistes, along with a tableau on the theme “Swatantrata Ka Mantra: Vande Mataram”, on 26 January 2026. Stay tuned for more updates.
