‘दावोस’ येथे ‘वर्ल्ड इकॉनॉमिक फोरम’ अंतर्गत आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या ‘Leaders Forum – Powered by Poland’ च्या उद्घाटन समारंभाला प्रमुख अतिथी म्हणून उपस्थित राहिलो. या विशेष निमंत्रणासाठी, तसेच मान्यवरांच्या उपस्थितीत विचार मांडण्याची संधी दिल्याबद्दल मी पोलंडच्या जनतेचा, पोलंड सरकारचा व आयोजकांचा मनापासून आभारी आहे.

या उद्घाटन समारंभास पोलंडचे माजी राष्ट्राध्यक्ष मा. अलेक्झांडर क्वाश्निव्हस्की तसेच न्यूझीलंडच्या माजी पंतप्रधान मा. हेलन क्लार्क यांच्यासह जगभरातील ज्येष्ठ नेते, धोरणकर्ते व विविध क्षेत्रांतील मान्यवर उपस्थित होते.

हा कार्यक्रम वॉर्सा येथील Centre for International Relations संस्थेने पोलंडमधील अग्रगण्य संस्थांच्या सहकार्याने आयोजित केलेला आहे.

I had the privilege of attending the inaugural ceremony of the “Leaders Forum – Powered by Poland”, organised at the World Economic Forum in Davos; as their guest of honour.

I am grateful to the people of Poland, their government and the organisers for extending a special invitation to me and for giving me the opportunity to address the distinguished gathering.

The inauguration was attended by Mr. Aleksander Kwaśniewski, former President of Poland, and Ms. Helen Clark, former Prime Minister of New Zealand, along with senior leaders, policymakers, and representatives from across the world.

The Forum was organised by the Centre for International Relations (Warsaw) in collaboration with leading Polish institutions.
