TVK chief Vijay appears before CBI in Karur stampede probe

Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) chief and actor Vijay today appeared at the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) headquarters in New Delhi in connection with the probe into the Karur stampede tragedy. Last week, he had also appeared before the CBI in the same case. The stampede occurred in September last year, during a massive gathering organised by the TVK to welcome actor-turned-politician and the party’s founder, Vijay. Due to a stampede, 41 people lost their lives.
