Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Yatra flagged off at Koraput.

Report by Nishapati Nayak : The bus from Koraput to Rayagada for the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Yatra has started. The bus yatra was flagged off by Additional District Collector Tapan Kumar Naik from the District Cultural Office. Along with this, the Additional District Collector wished a safe journey to all the pilgrims and encouraged them to go on the pilgrimage. 168 senior citizens from various blocks and municipalities of the district are visiting the pilgrimage in this yatra. Before the start of the yatra, the health of all the passengers was first checked and some essential medicines were given to them. On Saturday morning, everyone will leave Rayagada for Ayodhya and then Varanasi. The yatra will last for 6 days and all the passengers will return to Koraput on the 22nd.
