I, Krishna Chandra Das, Press Member and Chief Editor of The Individual Publication, hereby issue this public alert regarding the increasing circulation of AI-generated fake advertisements using the names, images, and identities of Hon’ble Central Ministers, Business Tycoons, and RBI Governors.
Recently, an advertisement circulated in the name of the Hon’ble Finance Minister of India has been identified as completely AI-generated, misleading, and fraudulent, with no practical or official authenticity. Such advertisements are deliberately designed to mislead common citizens into false investment schemes, resulting in severe financial loss.
I strongly urge the public to exercise maximum caution before trusting or investing in any online advertisement claiming government or high-profile endorsements.
I further draw the urgent attention of concerned Government Departments, including the Cyber Cell, Information & Broadcasting Ministry, and Central Public Relations authorities, to take immediate and strict action against those responsible for creating and circulating such deceptive content.
It is deeply concerning that despite the existence of regulatory and cyber monitoring institutions, such fraudulent advertisements continue to appear openly across social media platforms, trapping innocent people in crowd-financing and investment frauds.
This situation raises serious questions about digital accountability, regulatory enforcement, and public protection.
Silence in the face of such organized deception only strengthens criminal networks. It is the collective responsibility of media professionals, authorities, and citizens to raise their voices against such activities.
This press release is issued purely in the interest of public awareness and national responsibility.
