Senior Journalist of Billawar Mohd Rafiq Conducts Surprise Inspection of Lohai–Mahar Road Following Public Complaint Billawar, Kathua:(TVP News)

Senior journalist Mohammad Rafiq carried out a surprise visit to the road construction site following recent complaints regarding the quality of work. The inspection was aimed at verifying the allegations and assessing the ground reality.
During the visit, it was observed that the contractor was personally present at the site and was supervising the work under his direct monitoring. The construction activities were found to be progressing as per the prescribed standards, and no negligence or irregularities were noticed at the spot.
A few days earlier, certain complaints had been raised concerning the road construction, prompting concerns among the local residents. Taking note of these complaints, journalist Mohammad Rafiq interacted with the contractor at the site and thoroughly reviewed the quality of the ongoing work.
After inspecting the materials and execution process, it was confirmed that the work was being carried out properly and in accordance with norms. No compromise in quality was detected during the inspection.
Journalist Mohammad Rafiq, while appreciating the supervision at the site, directed the contractor to ensure timely completion of the road and maintain the same level of quality till the project is fully executed. He emphasized that public works must meet standards to serve the people effectively and address public concerns transparently.
The inspection helped clear doubts raised earlier and reassured the public that the road work is being carried out responsibly and efficiently.
