Guntakal Division Secures Second Prize at South Central Railway Inter-Divisional Cultural Competitions 2025 The Guntakal Division achieved a notable success by securing the Second Prize in Classical Group Dance at the South Central Railway Inter-Divisional Cultural Competitions 2025, held on 8th and 9th January 2026 at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad. Representing Guntakal Division, the talented students of Shri Lalitha Natyalaya, Mandy Bazaar, Guntakal, delivered a graceful and disciplined Bharatanatyam performance that was highly appreciated by the judges and audience alike. The achievement stands as a testimony to the students’ dedication, cultural discipline and artistic excellence. The award ceremony was held at the DRM Office, Guntakal, where the winning students were felicitated with medals and certificates by Shri Chandra S. Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Guntakal. During the ceremony, the DRM Sir congratulated the students for their remarkable performance and encouraged them to continue preserving and promoting India’s rich classical dance heritage. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Lakshmi Durga expressed her pride in the students and stated that this recognition at an inter-divisional level is a motivating milestone for both the students and the institution. The felicitation ceremony was attended by students, parents, and well-wishers, marking a proud moment for Shri Lalitha Natyalaya, Guntakal Division, and the local cultural community. The participating students were K. Chinmayi from Railway School, K. Kaavya from Montessori School, Pobatti Hayathi & B. Vennela from Vignan School, and C. Varnika from Kendriya Vidyalaya (K V School).
