SDM Hiranagar Conducts Field Visit Over Khair Tree Theft Complaints, Orders Strict ActionHiranagar:(The voice of people news)

Taking serious note of increasing complaints related to the theft of Khair trees in the Hiranagar sub-division, SDM Hiranagar Phulel Singh carried out an on-ground inspection of the affected areas on Wednesday. Accompanied by his team, the SDM visited Patta, Rasana, and Dinga Amb to assess the situation firsthand.
During the visit, SDM Phulel Singh reviewed the ground realities and interacted with officials concerned. He expressed concern over the illegal felling and theft of Khair trees and directed the field staff to intensify surveillance in vulnerable areas.
The SDM issued clear instructions to ensure strict legal action against those involved in the smuggling and theft of Khair wood. He emphasized that no leniency would be shown and warned that negligence on part of officials would also invite action.
The administration has assured locals that concrete steps will be taken to curb forest-related crimes and protect valuable natural resources in the sub-division.
