Golden Bow of Lord Ram Arrives in Semiliguda, Receives Warm Welcome from Residents

Semiliguda | jan 9, 2026 - As part of a statewide religious yatra, the sacred golden bow of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ramchandra arrived in Semiliguda today, drawing large crowds of devotees and residents. The yatra, which is travelling across various districts of Odisha, aims to spread devotion, unity, and cultural values associated with Lord Ram.

On its arrival at Semiliguda, the atmosphere turned devotional and festive. Residents from all sections of society gathered in large numbers, showering flowers and offering prayers as a mark of reverence. The procession passed through key areas of the town, with chants of “Jai Shri Ram” echoing throughout the streets.

The sacred bow was briefly halted near the Tarini Temple bus stand, where devotees offered floral tributes and performed rituals. Men, women, and youth participated enthusiastically, expressing pride in being part of the historic yatra.

Organisers stated that after Semiliguda, the yatra will continue its journey to other parts of Odisha, spreading the message of faith, harmony, and devotion. Local residents described the event as a moment of spiritual joy and collective unity for the town.
