Illegal Animal Blood Trade Busted in Hyderabad, 1,000 Litres Seized

A major illegal animal blood trading racket has been exposed in Hyderabad. In a joint raid conducted by the Drug Control Department and Hyderabad City Police, approximately 1,000 liters of sheep and goat blood were seized.

The raid was conducted at CNK Import & Export in Kacheguda. According to the police, the blood was being collected from live animals and supplied to a Haryana-based company. The exact purpose of the blood is not yet clear, but it is suspected to be used for clinical trials.

The company owner, Nikesh, is currently absconding. The police and Drug Control teams have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
Authorities have stated that strict legal action will be taken against the culprits.
