Renowned Tabla Artist Vijayendra Sagara Honored with "Tabla Chatur" Award
​Kalaburagi: Eminent Tabla artist and Akashvani 'A' Grade performer, Shri Vijayendra Sagara, was recently conferred with the prestigious "Tabla Chatur" award. The honor was bestowed by the 'Hansadhwani Kalaniketan' institute during its 24th anniversary celebrations in Kalaburagi.
​Hailing from Shahapur, Vijayendra Sagara is a disciple of Pt. Raju Kulkarni and has earned a First Rank in M.A. (Tabla). For over two decades, he has been nurturing young talent through his 'Suman Sangeet Vidyalaya'. Apart from his musical excellence, he also manages 'Nandan Nursery'. His contribution to the field of Hindustani classical music has been widely lauded by the art community.
