Awareness Seminar on Drugs Held at Hoshiarpur Rehab Centre

In compliance with orders from the Punjab Legal Services Authority and under the directions of District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur, Rajinder Agarwal, Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur, Neeraj Goyal organised an awareness seminar against drug abuse at the District Drug De-Addiction Rehabilitation Centre here today.Chief Legal Aid Defence Counsel Advocate Vishal Kumar Nanda and Deputy Legal Aid Defence Counsel Advocate Sandeep Bhardwaj conducted the session in the presence of centre counsellor Prashant Adia. They provided detailed information to the patients about free legal aid services and highlighted the toll-free number 15100. The officials also listened to the patients' grievances and administered an oath against drug abuse.Gursimaran Singh, staff nurse, and patients were present on the occasion.
