Creators kicked off the much-awaited three-day shopping and lifestyle exhibition ‘Vakhra Swag’ with great fanfare at City Centre Hoshiarpur. Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Rouri inaugurated the event. The ceremony was graced by former Union Minister of State Vijay Sampla, former Cabinet Minister Tikshan Sood, noted social worker Parmjit Singh Sachdeva, and prominent social, business and cultural figures from the city. Congratulating the organisers, the Deputy Speaker said such events boost local trade, tourism and employment.The mega exhibition featured renowned exhibitors from Punjab, Haryana and other parts of the country, who set up stalls to promote their businesses and sales. Participating brands included Sartaj Mahima Bakery (Hoshiarpur), Shiv Plastics, Matharu Exports, Punjab Boot House, Ambala Chaat Bhandar, Modi Jewellers, MH Honda Activa, Bharat Silk Store, Vijay Bridal and Rudra Creation, offering shoppers a diverse range under one roof.Popular garment brands like GN Fabric and Punjabi Libas also showcased their attractive collections. Hoshiarpur's famed jewellery brand Neelam Jewels drew special attention from visitors. Stalls related to fashion, food, automobiles and lifestyle proved to be major crowd-pullers.R.J. Creators coordinators Dr. Pankaj Shiv and Renu Kanwar thanked Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Rouri for gracing the occasion. They shared that the first evening was dedicated to the Guru Sahiban, featuring a special screening of the film Chaar Sahibzaade to pay tribute to the martyrdom of the Sahibzadas and honour the brave warriors who sacrificed their lives for faith.The event generated tremendous excitement among Hoshiarpur residents, with large crowds thronging the stalls for shopping. Dr. Pankaj Shiv announced that more such grand events would be organised in future, given the positive response and demand from the public.R.J.
