Gandhamardhan movement activist Dasharath Behera passes away

Dasarath Behera of Salepali village, Paikmal block, Padmapur subdivision, Bargarh district, who actively participated in the Gandhamardhan movement, Balko Hatta movement, has passed away at the age of 93. He had fought a brutal fight with the police in Salepali to protest against the lathi charge by the police. Which became an inspiration for the young activists at that time. After the demise of the late Behera, he has left behind his only son Devendra Behera and his family.
