Fatal accident in Tamil Nadu - came out late

A private bus traveling at high speeds crashed into a bridge retaining wall near Villupuram (Vikravandi) on December 19, 2025.

The terrifying moment of the crash was captured live by a motovlogger following the bus, with the footage now going viral online.

The bus was left hanging precariously over the river. It was saved from plunging into the water only because its undercarriage got wedged between iron rods and the bridge structure.

13 passengers sustained injuries and are receiving treatment at Mundiyampakkam Government Hospital. A major tragedy was narrowly averted for the 30+ passengers on board.
