Awareness Camp was organized in Tehsil Sunderbani by Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu,

Today on 20 Dec, 2025 a Farmer Awareness Camp was organized in Tehsil Sunderbani by Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu, with the participation of officers from all agriculture-related departments. The programme was chaired by the ADC Sunderbani and the Hon’ble MLA Kalakote, Shri Randhir Singh.

During the camp, Vijay Kumar Sharma Chairman of Mechanized Farmer Producer Company Limited (MFPCL), interacted with farmers and shared the challenges they commonly face in accessing quality seeds and fertilizers, dairy facilities, animal feed, marketing support, and benefits of government schemes and informed them that by coming together through a Farmer Producer Company, farmers can get easier access to government schemes, quality inputs at affordable rates, better dairy support and fair prices for their produce. Farmers were encouraged to join and work collectively to strengthen their income and livelihood.
