Parmeet Singh Sachdeva, Managing Director of Sachdeva Stocks, served as the chief guest at a seminar on avoiding wasteful spending and long-term investing held for students at Lovely Professional University. Upon his arrival, organizers welcomed him, including Sahil Mishra, Head of Event Student Career Committee, School of Computer Science and Engineering; Kishan Nath; and assistant professors Souhardya Bose and Sami Anand. Divyanshi, Relationship Manager at Sachdeva Stocks, was also present.

In his address, Sachdeva advised students to curb unnecessary expenses and gradually invest in mutual funds. He cautioned that many platforms today lure youth with dreams of overnight riches, but no shortcut exists to sudden wealth. "To grow your wealth and realize your dreams, commit to long-term investments," he emphasized.

Sachdeva highlighted the positive results from steady, long-term mutual fund investments. He urged young people to start investing as soon as they begin their jobs, gradually increasing contributions year after year. "After a few years, you'll see the rewards of your investments, turning your dreams into reality," he said.

He appealed to students to steer clear of social media influencers promising quick riches, warning that they could squander hard-earned money meant for you and your family.
