I am deeply grateful to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi avaru for his warm birthday wishes and continued guidance. On this occasion, I sought his blessings and had the opportunity to brief him on the key developments and progress across the Ministries of Steel and Heavy Industries recently.

The Hon’ble Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the direction and outcomes of our efforts, which is a source of immense encouragement for me and the entire team.

Under his visionary leadership, we have taken decisive steps towards reviving RINL, initiated large-scale expansion and modernisation of major steel plants such as Bokaro and Rourkela, and rolled out the pioneering Rare Earth Permanent Magnet scheme to strengthen Atmanirbharta in critical materials and manufacturing.

Guided by the Prime Minister’s transformative vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, we are also firmly committed to decarbonising the steel sector in line with India’s Net Zero 2070 goals. I remain dedicated to advancing this national m
