
JD Degree Womens College and Taluk Legal Services Committee, Barpali jointly organized Human Rights Day
A seminar on Barpalli Taluk Legal Services and Human Rights Day was held under the chairmanship of Padmini Dash, Principal of Jagabandhu Dash Degree Women's College. On this occasion, senior citizen advocates Rabindra Panda, Bablu K Sahu, Himanshu Shekhar Sahu, Binapani Padhan participated and discussed about human rights awareness and informed the common people about free legal aid, free legal advice, and the process of speedy justice provision by informing them about the rights of women-children-senior citizens. The speakers said that every citizen needs legal awareness to protect human rights. The Taluk Legal Services Committee is continuously working to provide justice to the poor, helpless and oppressed. Court Police colleagues including Dileswar Dash of Court participated in the campaign and made presentations about their rights and duties. All the faculty members, staff and students, including the founder of the college, Antaryami Panda, participated in the discussion and Jatindra Kumar Sahu, lecture of the Odia Department, proposed the vote of thanks.
