Could a little bark save a life?

Two-year-old Sunanya disappeared from a coffee estate in Kodagu while playing near the forest fringe.

Her parents, estate workers, foresters, and villagers searched tirelessly through the night.

Tiger paw prints and a half-eaten carcass made the situation even more frightening. And then Oreo, a family dog, barked from the estate’s highest point, leading rescuers to Sunanya curled under a coffee plant — alone, scared, but safe.

Hope sometimes comes on four paws.
