The Leader of the Opposition in the state, Suvendu Adhikari, has joined this programme, along with former BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar. Two other former state presidents of the party, Sukanta Majumdar and Dilip Ghosh, have also been present. Also attending are two more former BJP state presidents, Tathagata Roy and Rahul Sinha. Many other BJP leaders are present as well. Around 12:15 pm, the Governor reached the Brigade Parade Ground.
