Advocates Demand Implementation of Advocate Protection Act in Telangana Hyderabad – Advocate Qurram Ali

Advocate Mir Qurram Ali has called for urgent implementation of the Advocate Protection Act in Telangana, stressing the need to ensure the safety and welfare of legal professionals. He recently led a hunger protest at Dharna Chowk, Hyderabad, in support of the Telangana Junior Advocates’ Association.
During the protest, Qurram Ali highlighted key demands:
Immediate implementation of the Advocate Protection Act to safeguard lawyers.
Introduction of a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 for junior advocates.
Medical support for advocates and their families.
Improved working conditions for young lawyers.
“Junior advocates face significant challenges and risks while performing their duties. Their safety and welfare are paramount, and the state must act without delay,” said Mir Qurram Ali.
The protest drew attention to the pressing need for legal protections and welfare schemes to support the next generation of lawyers in Telangana.
