Deadly Attack on Sudarshan News Cameraman in Lucknow – High-Level Probe Launched

A shocking incident took place on Tuesday night (18 November 2025) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, where Sudarshan News cameraman Sushil Awasthi was brutally attacked by unidentified assailants. The attack occurred in a busy area, where the attackers suddenly surrounded him and assaulted him, causing severe injuries.

He was rushed to Lokbandhu Hospital, where his condition was critical but is now reported to be stable.

Sudarshan News has filed a complaint at Manak Nagar Police Station, demanding the harshest punishment for the attackers. Police have registered an FIR and begun an intensive search, including CCTV footage examination around the crime spot to identify the culprits.
