Telangana MeeSeva Services Go Live on WhatsApp

Telangana government is launching MeeSeva services on WhatsApp, starting 18 November 2025.

Through WhatsApp, citizens can now apply for various government certificates (birth, caste, income, etc.) without visiting MeeSeva centres.

Payments for bills — like electricity, water, and property tax — can also be made through the WhatsApp interface.

IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu said the chat-based WhatsApp system will be “simple, secure and citizen-friendly.”

In parallel, MeeSeva has introduced faster re-issuance of SC, ST & BC community certificates, reducing approval layers for reprints.
