Damanjodi: In today's modern digital era, Artificial Intelligence (A I) is spreading its influence at every time and in every field. Under its influence, good and bad are moving in parallel like two sides of a coin. In this regard, a seminar titled "Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Press Freedom" was organized on the occasion of National Press Day-2025. The event, jointly organized by Utkal Journalists Association, Koraput District Branch and Media House, Damanjodi at the NALCO Community Center, was graced by the Chief Guest, Chief General Manager, Finance Department, NALCO, Sanjay Kumar Gupta, and the Guest of Honour, Chief General Manager, Mines Department, Purushottam Mahanath, Senior Commandant, Industrial Security Force, Satyadev Arya, Damanjodi Police Station Officer, Smt. Pramila Bidika, President, Utkal Journalists Association Koraput District, K. Srinivas Rao, President, Media House Damanjodi, Narasimha Brahma, Vice President, Utkal Journalists Association Koraput, Jayasingh Padasetty, Vice President, Trinath Khara, and other dignitaries. Vinod Mohapatra, a senior journalist of undivided Koraput district and editor of KBK Samachar newspaper, was the main speaker and elaborated on the topic in detail. On this occasion, Trilochan Maharana, Koraput District Representative of electronic media 'News18' and Kritibas Pradhan, Sunabeda Representative of daily newspaper 'Dharatri' were presented with the "Journalist Glory Award" along with bouquets, citations, certificates etc. On the other hand, Patrambar Sahu, founder legal advisor of Media House Damanjodi, was honored while 50 journalists from every corner of the district were given the "Journalist Talent Award". Manas Ranjan Kar, General of Media House Damanyodi, conducted the forum while Chaitanya Hantal, Organization Editor, introduced the guests. At the end of the program, Vice President Sudarshan Sahabi proposed the vote of thanks.
