
ERWWO,Malda celebrated Children's Day at Shishu Bihar English Academy School.
On the occasion of Children's Day (Rastriya Bal Diwas), a function was organized by Eastern Railway Women's Welfare Organization (ERWWO), Malda Division at Shishu Bihar English Academy School, Malda. Smt. Manisha Gupta, President, ERWWO,Malda, along with other esteemed members of the organization were present at the function.
At the beginning of the function, floral tributes were paid to potrait of Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. His birthday is celebrated as Children's Day across the country on 14th November, paying tribute to his deep affection and love for children.
The mesmerizing cultural performances and fancy dress competition by the school students were the main attractions of the function, which highlighted their creativity and talent.
This objective was stated by Smt. Manisha Gupta that Children are the future of the nation, so it is the responsibility of all in the society to nurture them with proper education, values and affection.
Also, on this auspicious occasion, a fancy dress competition was organized for the primary school students at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Malda, where the enthusiasm and creative participation of the children was particularly noticeable.
Also, a community feast was organized on the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas by serving local traditional food, through which the students became more interested in the regional culture and food customs.
The Principal and teachers of Shishu Bihar English Academy expressed their sincere gratitude to ERWWO, Malda for this beautiful and inspiring initiative.
The program concluded with the distribution of gifts and food items.
