PENSION BENEFITS EVENT TO RETIRED TEACHERS HELD AT MORIGAON

Pension Benefits provided to 12 teachers upon retirement .
The Morigaon District Education Department today held the 19th Pension Distribution program implemented with the aim of providing pension benefits to retirement. During the event held at the historic Bhawan of the Education Department. 12 teachers from various schools in the district were formally honored and provided with pension benefits. Accordingly, 6 teachers from Secondary Schools and 6 teachers from Primary Schools who recently retired were given benefits such as accumulated leave pay, insurance money, and more. Participating as the chief guest, former MLA of Morigaon constituency Haren Borah delivered a speech appreciating the department's initiatives. Several notable figures, including Atanu Sharma, Secretary of Assam Unnati Sabha, were also present. The event was concluded by Inspector of Schools, Apurba Thakuria from Morigaon District. Several retired teachers expressed their experiences during the program.
