A resident of North 24 Parganas died unnaturally within 24 hours of the announcement of the Special Intensive Revision or SIR of the voter list in West Bengal. Political tension is also going on around that incident.

Is the handwriting of Pradeep Kar's suicide note of Agarpara, who committed suicide due to 'NRC panic', his? According to police sources, the handwriting on the note is being compared. The note will be forensically examined. On the other hand, the wife of the deceased Pradeep's brother has filed a complaint of incitement to suicide at Khardah police station.

A resident of North 24 Parganas died unnaturally within 24 hours of the announcement of the Special Intensive Revision or SIR of the voter list in West Bengal. On Tuesday morning, the police recovered Pradeep's hanging body from his room in his flat in Agarpara. A diary was found in that room. It is said that a suicide note was found from the pages of that diary.

Did Pradeep commit suicide due to NRC panic after the SIR announcement? The question has arisen. West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress is blaming NRC as the cause of Pradeep's death. It is claimed that Pradeep panicked after the SIR announcement. He went to sleep with the door closed at night. And his body was recovered from the locked room the next morning. Trinamool claims that Pradeep's suicide note mentioned NRC. The police also confirmed this later. Recently, a suicide note has come to light. It is claimed that it is the last message left by Pradeep However, the handwriting of the suicide note that has come to light is not very clear. Although it mentions Pradeep's name, place of residence, year of birth and NRC.

Unmarried Pradeep lived in the same flat with his brother and sister-in-law. After eating and drinking on Monday night, he went to sleep in his room. On Tuesday morning, the sister-in-law called Pradeep's brother after calling him repeatedly but getting no response. The neighbors came. When there was no response even after calling him, they informed the police station. The police went and recovered Pradeep's hanging body. According to sources, Pradeep's sister-in-law filed a written complaint about the incident at the police station. She believes that someone or something had incited Pradeep to commit suicide.
Anupam Singh, DC (South) of Barrackpore Police Commissionerate, said, “A complaint of abetment to suicide was filed by Pradeep Kar’s family at Khardah police station last night. We are investigating everything.” Although Anupam did not comment on the suicide note that went viral on social media, he said that the investigation into the incident is underway.

On the other hand, a political row has started over Pradeep’s suicide note. While Trinamool is blaming NRC for Pradeep’s death, BJP is expressing doubts about the suicide note. JP has raised the question, was Pradeep even able to write? This is because of the comments made by some members of the deceased Pradeep’s family. The comments say that Pradeep studied up to class III. Secondly, four fingers of his right hand are missing. There is no information that Pradeep used to write with his left hand. Keeping these issues in mind, Padmashibir has raised questions about the validity of the suicide note.
