District level eighth Poshan month ceremony held

The district level eighth Poshan month celebration-2025 was held at the conference hall of the office of the District Chief Agriculture Officer under the chairmanship of District Social Welfare Officer Sandhyarani Nepak. The guests of honor at this ceremony included the Chief District Agriculture Officer Lochan Chandra Majhi, Additional District Education Officer Saroj Kumar Bhoi, Additional Horticulture Officer Gobinda Chandra Panda, Dr. B. Joshi, DPO and discussed the district-level Poshan month and highlighted the diseases of obesity and its solutions. To make people aware about nutritious food, various nutritious foods made in Mandya were displayed at this ceremony and prizes were given to the students of various competitions held by various schools and colleges on the Poshan month program.
All the ICDS CDPOs, LSs, Nutrition Coordinators and Anganwadi workers of the district participated in the program. At the end of the meeting, Shri Tarunsen Praseth, CDC, thanked everyone for attending the meeting.
