SPECIAL TICKET CHECKING DRIVE ON 13434 AMRIT BHARAT AND 13053 KULIK EXPRESS TRAINS

Under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager, Malda, Shri Manish Kumar Gupta, Malda Division is making multifarious efforts to curb ticketless travel.

In view of the ongoing festive season and as part of sustained efforts to safeguard railway revenue, Malda Division of Eastern Railway conducted a Special Ticket Checking Drive on 12.10.2025 in Train No. 13434 Amrit Bharat Express and Train No. 13053 Kulik Express between Malda Town and Rampurhat section.

The drive was conducted under the supervision of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Malda, Ms. Anjan, and led on-field by Assistant Commercial Manager (ACM/TC) Shri Tapas Kumar Biswas, along with commercial inspectors, ticket checking staff, and Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel.
A total of 157 cases of ticket irregularities were detected during the operation, and ₹1,60,040/- was realised as fine.

This operation underscores Malda Division’s commitment towards passenger discipline, ensuring a fair travel environment, and discouraging unauthorised travel. Similar ticket checking drives will continue across Malda Division to protect revenue and provide genuine passengers with a more comfortable journey experience.

Malda Division of Eastern Railway appeals to all passengers to travel with proper and valid tickets to avoid inconvenience and penalties.
