BALVATIKA CLASSES INAUGURATED AT KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA, MALDA

In line with the National Education Policy 2020 and with the objective of strengthening early childhood education, three new Balvatika classes (Balvatika I, II & III) were inaugurated at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Malda on 11th September 2025.

The inauguration was carried out by Shri Manish Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Malda in the presence of members of the Vidyalaya Management Committee and senior officers of the Division.

To mark the occasion, newly admitted children were presented with gifts to make their first day of school memorable. The children also participated in innovative and engaging activities under a creative session titled “Jadoo ka Pitara”, which created excitement and joy among the young learners.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Manish Kumar Gupta, DRM/Malda appreciated the initiative of Kendriya Vidyalaya Malda in implementing the Balvatika programme under the New Education Policy. He emphasised that such efforts will contribute to the holistic development of children and lay a strong foundation for their educational journey.

The programme concluded with a call to continue adopting innovative teaching methods that nurture creativity, curiosity, and confidence among students.
