New school campus and school building of Subati padhi alumina higher secondary school inaugurated at Damanjodi

Damanjodi -2/9/2025 Subati Padhi Alumina Higher Secondary School's own new school building was inaugurated at Damanjodi Industrial Area in Koraput district on 2.9.2025.
The chief guest at the inauguration ceremony was Pottangi MLA and Congress Legislative Party Leader Shri. Ram Chandra Kadamand the guest of honor were NALCO Executive Director Niranjan Samal, and Ms. Sasmita Melaka , Zila Parishad President, Koraput . Other guests and eminent personalities present were Chief General Manager, Nalco Sri S A Basu, former MLA Koraput, Sri Raghuram Podal, former MLA Laxhmipur, Sri Prabhu jani, former MLA Pottangi Sri Praful Pangi and Sri Pritam Padhi , Zila parisad Member Koraput Block , Sri Mihir Kuldeep, Sarpanch Marichmal, Ex Deputy General Manager of Nalco Sri Ramesh Chandra Das, educationists Dr. Chittaranjan Mishra, Principal Dr. Patra , villagers and students.
The president of the school management committee, Shri Pitam Padhi, said that since there was no higher secondary school in this area, efforts were made to improve educational infrastructure looking at the larger interest of the students of the area and today's school building inauguration is a great achievement in the direction. He also informed that efforts are in advanced stage for opening the +3 stream and college . The MLA highly appreciated the efforts of Mr. Padhi and stressed on the importance of the institute in furthering the academic requirements of the area. He informed the gathering that he has a vision to open at least one higher secondary and college in each and every block and proposed to extend all shorts of assistance for rapid growth of the school. He also requested Nalco ED to explore possibility to extend help the institute from CSR and DMF funds and other self sources.The ED of Nalco while appreciating efforts of the school management and Mr. Padhi, expressed his willingness to support the initiative as permissible under extant rules. Ms Maleka, guest of honour, in her addres while expressing happiness over the inauguration of new building advised students to take all out efforts in excelling in their studies.She also cited examples of successful candidates who have achieved success in NEET, OPSC and other State and national level examinations from undivided koraput district. She advised students to create their self interest and become role models unlike others. Other Ex MLAs Sri. P Pangi , Sri Padal and Sri Jani expressed their sheer happiness in establishing this institute and promised their all out support to Mr. Padhi for further development and promised to own responsibility.
Sri Anant Ram Mattam coordinated the event very systematically . Eminent educationist Shri Chittaranjan Mishra finally proposed the vote of thanks. The School Principal Mr. Patra informed about academic achievements and informed that the first batch have since passed out with 82 percent result, being a motivational factor for the school administration.Mr. Kuldeep, ZP member also praised the school management and focussed on importance of educational institutions , which was a dream of constitution maker Baba Sahed Ambedkar and promised his support for the school. At the end of the program students staged dhemsa dance where guests also joined.
