India only SCO nation to refuse support to China's Belt & Road Initiative

India refused to endorse China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) at Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), making it the only SCO nation to withhold support for the infrastructure project. The rest of the eight member nations, including Russia and Pakistan, reaffirmed their support for BRI. India has opposed BRI's China-Pakistan Economic Corridor that passes through Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir.
