Nuakhai Bhet Ghat celebrated at Sikirdi village

Nuakhai Bhet Ghat-2025 was celebrated with great pomp and show by the local youth association in Sikirdi village of Barpali block. The association president Pradeep Kumar Padhan presided over the meeting while Bhojraj Deep conducted the meeting. Professor Saroj Kumar Dash was the chief guest, poet Tejuru Barik was the main speaker, Kishor Sahu was the guest of honor and village committee president Gatikrushna Tripathi participated and expressed his views on the past, present and future of Nuakhai tradition. First of all, he garlanded the photo of Maa Samlei and lit the lamp. Tejraj Bagh gave the keynote speech while explaining the purpose of the meeting. Finally, Uttar Kumar Sahu proposed the vote of thanks. The cultural program was performed by Shankar Kumbar and his friends' orchestra. The villagers, along with all the members of the association, made the program a success.
